Biogas will become a key factor in Germany's energy transition. In future, it will be crucial to utilise the valuable raw material biogas directly and in an energy-efficient manner.

THE BIOGRID SYSTEM offers fast, economical access to the gas grid for a large number of biogas plants and thus solves many pressing problems for gas suppliers, agriculture and environmental protection.

We make decentrally produced biogas centrally available. Efficiency is key resource in the green circular economy.

German agriculture is under immense pressure to transform. A key issue is the sustainable reduction of emissions.

The sensible alternative to reducing livestock farming is to use farm manure to produce biogas. Only 30 per cent of this energy potential is currently utilised.

The reliable income from biogas makes it feasible for farmers to convert to animal welfare-friendly husbandry systems.

Biogas

Renewable energies are an important part of the energy transition. Biogas can be used both to secure the base load and to supplement energy generation from the sun and wind as required. The multiple possibilities for storage are another important factor for the energy mix. More than 15 per cent of today's natural gas consumption could be covered by biomethane in the future.

BioGrid System

With our patented BioGrid Collect technology, we enable fast, decentralised collection of green gas directly from the farm. As a partner to gas grid operators, we process the biogas and feed biomethane centrally into the main grid. This enables us to supply small to medium-sized agricultural businesses with green gas in the future.

Green supply chain

Green technology is an opportunity for certain industries to make a special contribution to sustainability. For example, we work closely with companies in the food industry. The supply of CNG from green gas for regional delivery logistics in the food industry is just one example of an innovative circular economy: economical, ecological and with positive social effects for rural areas.

Goals

Over the next 5 years, we are planning to set up BioGrid systems in several federal states. This will result in regional BioGrid Collect networks. Our focus is on agricultural operations of biogas plants with capacities of up to 1 MW.el1 MWel. We want to secure the future of these companies as green energy producers.
